Brass Shamrock Training is rooted in the original Firetown Training Specialists program. This was one of the first fire service stand alone training programs in the U.S. Our foundational intent is to address a critical gap in professional training: the need for realistic, experience-based instruction that mirrors real operational challenges. Our instructors bring firsthand experience from the fireground, the street, and high-risk environments where outcomes matter, including Firefighter Truck Academy–level operations.
Every course we deliver is shaped by lessons learned during real incidents. We focus on decision-making, coordination, and execution under stress—because that is where training truly proves its value.

Our fire service curriculum is known for excellence in the field of advanced Truck Operations Training, designed to enhance the performance of firefighters and officers on the fireground.
Some of the training areas include Truck Academy, Forcible Entry Training, Firefighter Search, Vertical Ventilation, Ladder Operations, coordinated truck work, and Spotting and Positioning in realistic conditions. Training focuses on efficacy, safety, and disciplined performance-competency, which directly affect the survival of firefighters and provide positive civilian outcomes.
We also cover modern building construction for firefighters, where crews understand how construction characteristics influence tactics, hazards, and decisions during operations.

The Famous Firetown Truck Academy
The Firetown Truck Academy is a five‑day, high‑intensity training experience delivering some of the strongest truck company instruction available in the fire service. The program can be hosted at your department’s facilities, training grounds, acquired structures, or a combination of all three—bringing realistic, mission‑driven reps directly to your crews. Built as a progressive, high‑expectation academy, each day pushes students further, developing their skills, confidence, and fireground decision‑making with every evolution
